Abstract
Background: Nurses’ Burnout can lead to increasing absenteeism and also decreasing energy and quality of service that provided by them. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of occupational burnout and its related factors among nurses of a hospital in Kermanshah city in 2013.
Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional and descriptive-analytical study 189 nurses were selected randomly. Data were collected by demographic questionnaire and Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). The gathered data were analyzed by Pearson, Independent T-test and ANOVA in statistical level of p≤0.05.
Results: Mean score of occupational burnout was 61.89. 39.2% nurses reported high emotional exhaustion, 37.6% high depersonalization and 73.5% of them had low personal accomplishment. There were statistical relationship between emotional exhaustion with employment status (p=0.015) and educational degree (p=0.041), between depersonalization with employment status (p=0.022) and working shift (p=0.023), and also between personal accomplishment with age (p=0.010), working experience (p=0.002) and shift working (p=0.045).
Conclusion: The level of nurses’ occupational burnout was average to high. The causes may be high workload, unsafe and boring work environment and high stress. It can be increased the commitment, positive sense to work and personal accomplishment can be reinforced by correct management of human resources including the determination of duties and strategies according to nurses’ ability, new approaches for encouragement and motivation as well as running stress management workshops.

Abstract
Introduction: As workplaces, hospitals are filled with stressors, including environmental and physical stressors (such as noise pollution and poor lighting), human stressors (such as conflicts with colleagues) and organizational stressors (such as heavy workloads and unsuitable work shifts). The inability to cope with these stressors entails physical, psychological and behavioral outcomes for the employees. The present study was conducted to evaluate job stress in nursing personnel and to design a model for assessing the severity of musculoskeletal disorders caused by job stress among nurses.
Materials and Methods: The present cross-sectional analytical study was conducted on 500 nurses working in various teaching hospitals of Hamadan. Data were collected through four questionnaires, including the Job Content Questionnaire, Maslach’s Burnout Inventory, the Visual Analogue Scale and a Demographic Questionnaire. Data were then analyzed in SPSS-16 and LISREL-8.3 using descriptive statistics.
Results: The results of the structural equation modeling showed that job burnout has a mediating effect between the severity of musculoskeletal disorders and job stress. In other words, if factors contributing to job burnout are present, the psychosocial risk factors yielded by the Job Content Questionnaire then contribute to the severity of musculoskeletal disorders.
Conclusion: Given the negative effects of job stress among nurses, health decision-makers are recommended to take measures to reduce stressors such as the physical and psychological demands of the workplace, the lack of support and the lack of job security.

Abstract
Introduction: Job burnout can have negative effects on organizations and their employees. This study tried to investigate the relationships between job burnout and occupational stress, the four dimensions of organizational justice, personality characteristics, role clarity, and role overload.
Material and Methods: All full-time employees of the Regional Electric Company of Kerman (n = 200) were selected as the study sample. Finally, 138 usable questionnaires were collected. Previously designed questionnaires were used to measure work overload, occupational stress, role calrity, and organizational justice and respect. Maslach Burnout Inventory and NEO were also administered. Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression analyses were applied to analyze the data. All analyses were performed using SPSS 16.0.
Results: Job burnout was significantly related with occupational stress, distributive justice, extraversion, role clarity, role overload, organizational respect. Multiple regression analysis suggested distributive justice, overload, procedural justice, and occupational stress as the best predictors of job burnout. These factors explained 48% of the variance in burnout.
Conclusion: According to the results of this study, policymakers and planners of the organization are recommended to pay more attention to parameters contributing to job burnout. This will prevent job burnout among the personnel and promote organizational efficiency.

Abstract
Introduction: A significant number of employees of any organization experience burnout, in many different countries. It is obvious that burnout prevention and mental health promotion play an important role in the improvement of the quality of services. One of the strategies that could be useful in reducing premature aging is deployment of a total ergonomics (ergonomics micro and macro). The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between variables considered in the context of total ergonomics and burnout.
Methods: The sample was selected from one of the hospitals in Yazd, including various departments with 506 employees. The sample size of 216 was determined according to Morgan. The data were collected through questionnaires and samples were selected through a stratified random sampling method.
Results: The results showed that moderate job burnout and perceived organizational support by the employees was lower than average, and there was a significant negative relationship between burnout and variables involved in comprehensive ergonomics. The study showed that demographic variables of burnout were effective on employees.
Conclusions: This study investigated burnout level, organizational support, organizational justice and physical environment. The reduction of Burnout was assessed by improved total ergonomic (macro and micro ergonomic) conditions. The results obtained in this study correspond with the results of various research studies. At the end of the study, based on the results, suggestions were made to reduce burnout.

Abstract
Background and Objectives: The progress and rebound of organizations depends on their productivity. Many factors affect the organization’s productivity; identifying these factors the organization’s deterrence can be prevented. In this study, the relationship between job burnout and employee productivity has been investigated.
Methods: This research is applied and its statistical population is 1265 people in Shariati and Kharazi hospitals. 294 of these employees were selected by Convenience sampling method considering the Cochran formula. Data was collected using the Maslach Burnout Standard Questionnaire and Hersey and Goldsmith Human Resources productivity Standard Questionnaire. Pearson correlation test and SPSS18 was used to analyze the data.
Results: The results of data analysis showed that burnout, emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment with -0.82, -0.86, -0.83 and -0.85 correlation values, respectively, have a reverse and meaningful relationship with employee productivity of Shariati and kharazmi Hospitals employees.
Conclusion: Since the results showed that burnout and its dimensions have a significant relationship with productivity of Shariati and Kharazmi Hospitals in Isfahan, it is necessary for organizations to apply measures to reduce the feeling of burnout in the staff. The results of this study are consistent with the results of other studies. At the end of the study, were presented several research proposals based on the results of the study.

Abstract
Background and Objectives: Recognition and prevention of burnout plays an important role in promoting mental health and increasing the quality of services provided. This paper aimed to prevent the occurrence of this problem, seeking to identify the effective factors on the employees' burnout.
Methods: Many studies have been carried out by researchers on staff burnout using a descriptive-analytical approach, but there is no model comprehensively identifying the factors affecting employee burnout and, more importantly, expressing the relationships between the factors involved. Therefore, system dynamics analysis and VENSIM software have been used for explaining the quantitative relationships between factors affecting employees' burnout, evaluation and simulation.
Results: After designing causal, flow diagrams and model validation, four scenarios were extracted using system dynamics and simulation methods. The first scenario, which shows the current status of the company, indicated an increase in burnout. In the second scenario, with increased job satisfaction, employee productivity increased, but higher productivity, in practice, did not lead to reduction in burnout. In the third scenario, burnout decreased with increasing occupational control variables. And in the fourth scenario, by increasing the welfare and rest parameters of the staff, it was found that this scenario also had a significant effect on reducing the burnout of employees.
Conclusion: From among the four simulated scenarios, the fourth one, which is the increase in staff welfare parameters, had the most impact on reducing the burnout of Ardabil Regional Water Company employees.

Abstract
Background and Objectives: Factors affecting one's job performance include job stress, job calling and burnout. The purpose of this study was to determine the causal relationship between job stressors, job calling and job burnout among employees of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences.
Methods: This descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study was performed on 378 non-faculty members of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences. Data were collected using Maslach Burnout Inventory, Job Stress Questionnaire (HSE-Q) and Dik's job calling. To investigate the relationship between variables, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method was used in AMOS version 24 software.
Results: The mean age of participants was 38.93 years. The components of job stressors and job calling had a positive and significant correlation with the components of job burnout (P<0.05). The measurement model was acceptable with the collected data. Job stressors indirectly and mediate the dimensions of presence and search of job calling are related to job burnout of medical university employees. The sum of squares of multiple correlations for job burnout variable was 0.56. This finding indicated that occupational stressors and job calling account for 52% of the variance in burnout.
Conclusion: Given the detrimental effects of burnout on employees, it is suggested that authorities reduce stressors such as the psychological and physical needs of the workplace, lack of support, job insecurity, and job calling.

Abstract
Background & Objectives: The nursing profession is basically stressful in nature. In the meantime, the spread of the coronavirus and its rapid spread throughout the country has caused the over-normal influx of patients infected with this virus to hospitals and increased nurses' work stress. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Coronavirus Stress on Job burnout in nurses with the moderating role of psychological capital in Khorramabad Shohadaye Ashayer Hospital, Iran.
Methods: The present study is a descriptive research in the field of studies in terms of applied purpose; data collection was performed using surveys. The statistical population of the study was 230 nurses working in Khorramabad Shohadaye Ashayer Hospital, Iran. Based on Krejcie and Morgan table, a sample size of 140 people were selected by stratified random sampling method. To measure the variables of the research, a questionnaire was used which included three sections of Coronavirus Stress, Job burnout and psychological capital. The reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha method and its validity was confirmed using convergent validity. For data analysis, structural equation modeling and SPSS and PLS software were used.
Results: The results showed that at the 95% confidence level, Coronavirus Stress has a positive and significant effect on nurses' Job burnout and psychological capital has a moderating role in relation to Coronavirus Stress and Job burnout.
Conclusion: According to the findings, it can be said that Coronavirus Stress has a significant role in increasing nurses' Job burnout, and in the meantime, nurses with stronger psychological capital suffer less burnout than nurses with weaker psychological capital. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the stress of Coronavirus disease by strengthening the psychological capital of nurses, which is a teachable component, and also equipping nurses with the best equipment.

Abstract
Background & Objectives: The pandemic and the crisis caused by the COVID-19 have challenged health care organizations around the world, causing human casualties and health concerns around the world and in Iran. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the mental workload and job burnout of medical employees during the Covid-19 pandemic in Iran.
Method: The present descriptive-analytic research has been conducted on 510 medical and diagnostic staff in the cities of Tehran, Isfahan, and Sanandaj. The mental workload and the job burnout of staff have been evaluated using NASA-TLX software and the job burnout Maslach, respectively. Statistical tests including t-test, ANOVA, and multivariate linear regression were used to analyze the data using a STATA-14 software package.
Results: The mean mental workload of employees associated with patients suffering COVID-19 and those not associated was estimated at 83.7±8.1 and 79.9±9.6 respectively. The mean of job burnout was estimated at 79.6±16.2 and 79.7±16.9, respectively, which were not statistically significant. The results of linear regression showed that being married (coefficient = -6.57, P value=0.003), employment as a Tarh (coefficient = -12.71, P value=0.002), inverse relationship and Work in Isfahan hospitals (coefficient = 21.21, P value<0.001) was directly related to burnout. Women (coefficient = 3.61, P value<0.001), having a relationship with COVID-19 patients (coefficient = 5.9, P value<0.001) had a direct relationship with the amount of mental work.
Conclusion: The mental workload and job burnout in medical employees during the COVID-19 pandemic are high, and warning and the mental workload in employees associated with patients suffering COVID-19 are higher than other employees.

Abstract
Objectives: Psychological parameters are among the most important components in determining the job performance of employees in the workplace and can be strongly affected by the epidemic of infectious diseases like COVID-19. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on mental workload and Occupational burnout of medical staff in Iran.
Methods: This case-control study was performed among the healthcare staff of two hospitals in Tehran province in 2021. All employees working in two hospitals were included by census method. The total number of people studied was 412 personnel. NASA-TLX and Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaires were used to assess mental workload and burnout, respectively. Data were analyzed using Independent t-test and Chi-square.
Results: The present study results revealed that the mean age, work experience, daily working hours, and body mass index of the studied employees were 36.70 ± 11.48 years, 12.53 ± 7.13 years, 9.64 ± 3.13 hours, and 23.89 ± 4.73 kg/m2, respectively. There was a significant difference between the two groups of cases and controls in the values of mental workload (P = 0.011) and burnout (P = 0.001).
Conclusion: The present study's findings revealed that the prevalence of COVID-19 could increase the values of mental workload parameters and burnout of health care personnel in medical settings. Therefore, control measures and psychological interventions to improve healthcare personnel's mental and physical health during the COVID-19 epidemic are mandatory.

Abstract
Objectives: Considering the role of human resources in every organization, it is very important to address issues that lead to the reduction of occupational injuries in the workplace, it is clear that preventing the occurrence of job burnout in improving people's mental health. It plays an important role. One of the topics that can be useful in reducing job burnout is the application of ergonomic knowledge and compliance with safety principles, which is the purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of workplace ergonomic principles on job burnout with the moderating role of safety culture.
Methods: The current research is descriptive survey research, the statistical population of this research is all the employees of Ilam Petrochemical Company, which was obtained by using the Cochran formula, and the sample size is equal to 310 people; The main tools for collecting information in this research include demographic profile questionnaires, ergonomic principles, job burnout, and safety culture. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the professors using face and content validity methods, and the reliability was also confirmed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. In this research, structural equations based on path analysis in SMART PLS software were used to analyze and test research hypotheses.
Results: The impact of ergonomic principles on the burnout of Ilam Petrochemical employees is negative and significant with coefficients (T = 12.26, R2 = -0.42), and the cultural impact of safety on burnout is also negative and significant with coefficients
(T = 14.07, R2 = -0.32). is, the test of the main hypothesis shows that safety culture moderates the effect of ergonomic principles on job burnout and causes more reduction of job burnout.
Conclusion: Compliance with the principles of ergonomics in the work environment and the existence of a safety culture in Ilam Petrochemical will reduce job burnout.

Abstract
Objectives: Employees in the oil and gas industry face various anxieties. The occurrence of corona disease and its rapid spread may increase the anxiety level of these people. The aim of this study is to investigate the mediating role of burnout in the relationship between corona anxiety and work stress.
Methods: The present study is a descriptive survey conducted in 1400. The statistical population of this research is all operational employees of Engineering and Construction Company of Oil Industries; Cochran formula was used to obtain a sample size of 310 people; the main instrument used to collect information is Corona Anxiety Scale Questionnaire, Job Burnout Questionnaire and Questionnaire. In this research, path analysis in SMART PLS software was used to analyze and test the research hypotheses.
Results: Corona anxiety has a significant effect on job burnout with coefficients (T=11.22 = 0.42, R^2) and job stress with coefficients (T=9.24 = 0.48, R^2). The effect of burnout on job stress is also significant with coefficients (T=9.24 = 0.38, R^2). The VAF effect coefficient for the effect of corona anxiety on job stress with the mediating role of burnout is equal to 0.51 and its significance coefficient is 7.52. Therefore, the mediating role of job burnout between the two variables corona anxiety and job stress was confirmed.
Conclusion: Corona anxiety has a direct and indirect negative effect on employees, and the level of corona anxiety in different industries should be reduced to improve employee performance.
